Set within the shell of an existing Fitzroy warehouse, the house opens into its industrial envelope, embracing the scale and character of its past. Previous proposed renovations were redefined and opened up to let light and space flow more freely, revealing connections that had been hidden.

Joinery is used to define rooms without enclosing them, guiding movement and framing moments within the open plan. Spaces feel layered, intimate yet generous, each transition quietly considered.

Materials speak to the warehouse’s history, with textures and finishes that are restrained yet deliberate. The home moves effortlessly between old and new, a dialogue of openness, tactility, and subtle structure.
